Delivery Concerns and Considerations

All our deliveries are outsourced, and all the drivers are contracted to do is drop kerbside. Any other arrangement (i.e. moving the crates onto your drive), is dependent on individual circumstance and is at the discretion of the driver.

We would expect a crate of granite to be unloaded within 10 minutes however bad preparation can extend the time or cause a delays / failed delivery which could result in unwelcome contra charges.

It is your responsibility to ensure someone is on site to accept delivery during your allotted time slot. You must also ensure there is hardstanding or similar for the crate(s) to be offloaded onto if you have a tail lift offload. Costs of re-delivery for any failed consignments due to either of the above will be charged to the customer at the courier’s standard rate.

Below is a list of obligatory questions, designed to help you and us make your delivery run smoothly.

Customer Yes/No Obligatory Questions

Delivery Concerns and Considerations

We strongly advise providing two contact numbers. If you provide a mobile an automated text will be sent out once the crate(s) are loaded onto the delivered vehicle with your 2-4hr delivery window.

in "NO" case - (pallets may be unloaded in road as an alternative. You will then need to seek local council permission or remove the items immediately to avoid any obstruction, at your own risk.)

in "YES" case - (delivery may be difficult/not possible)

4) Delivery can be made on varying sized vehicles up to a full articulated lorry. Will access to the delivery address be possible for the following sized delivery vehicles? (Consider the possibility of parked cars / overhanging trees / suitability for the vehicle to turn around).

Articulated vehicle (max. 24 crates) Articulated vehicle (max. 24 crates)

Rigid vehicle (max. 8 crates)Rigid vehicle (max. 8 crates)

7.5t small vehicle (max. 2 crates) 7.5t small vehicle (max. 3 crates) (+£15, see below)
